Greg Pottebaum
Principal
Greg Pottebaum is a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience committed to student success, instructional leadership, and school improvement. He began his career in 2003 as a high school math teacher in rural Pinetops, North Carolina, where he quickly developed a passion for helping students build both academic skills and confidence in mathematics.
Over the next decade, Greg taught at three different high schools, shaping his approach to teaching and learning. From 2009 to 2017, he served as a math teacher at Sycamore High School, where he became known for his collaborative approach, innovative instruction, and deep commitment to student growth.
In 2017, Greg took on a leadership role as assistant principal at West Clermont High School, where he worked to make student achievement a clear and measurable priority. He played a key role in building a data-driven school culture, supporting teacher development, and strengthening academic outcomes.
Greg was named principal of West Clermont High School in 2022. As building principal, he leads with a focus on equity, excellence in instruction, and creating a supportive environment where all students and staff can thrive. His leadership is marked by integrity, collaboration, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every student.

Dr. Princess Crenshaw
Assistant Principal
Class of 2026
Dr. Princess Crenshaw joined the administrative team in the 2023–2024 school year, bringing over 14 years of experience in education, including a decade in leadership roles. She most recently served as Assistant Principal at Winton Woods High School, where she was instrumental in cultivating a positive school culture rooted in high academic expectations and student success. In addition to her work in K–12 education, Dr. Crenshaw has served as an Adjunct Professor of Leadership at the University of Charleston since 2021, where she helps develop future leaders in education and beyond. Her career began in the classroom, with teaching roles at Mt. Healthy Jr./Sr. High School and Lakota East High School, where she honed her skills in instruction and student engagement. Dr. Crenshaw earned her Doctorate in Executive Leadership from the University of Charleston, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor’s in Education from Bowling Green State University. Her commitment to equity, excellence, and empowering both students and educators continues to shape her work as a dynamic educational leader.

Eric Muchmore
Assistant Principal
Class of 2027
Eric Muchmore joined Sycamore High School as Assistant Principal in 2025, bringing 19 years of experience in education. He has a B.A. in Integrated Language Arts Education and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. With a background in instructional leadership, restorative practices, and systems design, Eric has led numerous district and building-level initiatives focused on staff engagement, student voice, and innovative teaching practices. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as reading and exploring new ideas in education and leadership.

Katelyn Robinson
Assistant Principal
Class of 2028
Katelyn Robinson joined Sycamore High School as Assistant Principal in 2024, bringing 11 years of experience in education. She holds a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a Psychology minor from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Educational Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Katelyn has previously served as a math teacher, Special Education Department Chair, Dean of Students, and Learning Director. Outside of school, she enjoys running, reading, visiting zoos, and spending time with her husband, Greg, and newest little addition, Ellyette. Her passion for education comes from the joy of watching students grow and discover who they are.

Eric Fangman
Assistant Principal
Class of 2029
Eric Fangman joined the administrative team in the 2025-2026 school year bringing 13 years of experience in education. He taught for 7 years and has been in administration for 6 years. He holds a B.A. in Middle Grades Education from NKU, Masters in Education from the University of the Cumberlands, and Masters in Education Leadership from NKU. Eric has previously served as a math teacher, football and basketball coach, and athletic director. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel, and his two kids, Maxi and James, as well as going to concerts, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Andrew Ovington
Athletic Director
Andrew Ovington has served in education for 13 years, including 11 at Sycamore, where he currently leads as Athletic Director at Sycamore High School. He holds an undergraduate degree in Education and Politics and a Master’s in Public Administration.
Andrew previously taught at Sycamore for eight years and served as Assistant Principal at both Sycamore High School and Liberty Junior School in Lakota.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, who plays youth baseball and soccer in Sycamore. Andrew is passionate about creating opportunities for growth and learning and is continually inspired by students’ resilience and potential to shape the future.
